XS COMPACT 2ND STAGE

New ultra-simplified monocoque second stage in ABS + blue elastomer, very small in size (6 cm in diameter), very light (145 g) with a mechanism and construction studied to obtain the minimum number of components and great robustness. It is an intelligent purchase option due to its combination of features-reliability-price-maintenance cost, ideal for uses that require a high-end set with the MC9.

The specific calibration of the inhalation mechanism slightly changes the personality in air delivery compared to the Ellipse series, to reward, over and above the exquisite touch and sensitivity of these models, an abundant flow without the need for exploit the Venturi effect. This characteristic gives it a low tendency to continuous flow on the surface or during the placement of the equipment in the water, ideal for schools and rentals, octopus and double regulator. The performance results, however, place it above regulators considered to be of a higher range.

Perforation of the asymmetric front cover. The flow of water begins to push the membrane in an anticlockwise direction so that its retraction occurs perfectly flat and the cam descends progressively and in perfect perpendicularity, regardless of the conditions (current, sudden movements, any position of the face, etc.) .

Particularly reduced exhalation effort without the need to reduce the thickness of the membrane. The design of the membrane retention system directs the flow 100% channeled towards the mouthpiece nozzles, benefiting from a powerful Venturi effect that also helps to direct the bubbles away from the diver's field of vision. Purge button, practically integral, greater between 80 and 400% compared to any other regulator on the market to facilitate the purge maneuver, especially in inexperienced divers.

Lid assembly system by means of a 30º bayonet turn, ensures a very simple and safe assembly-disassembly, even to carry out sand cleaning tasks on the beach and without the need for tools.

Aging by use, is reduced thanks to the finish of the casing, the result of applying a new technology in the mold that achieves a nuanced appearance based on a microtexture of rounded profiles.

1ST STAGE MC9

1st stage with very modern overcompensated membrane but, at the same time, easy to maintain and very robust and reliable.

The thickness of the walls of the body have been optimized to minimize its weight (380 g). A semi-flexible elastomer sleeve protects the 1st stage from knocks and scratches.

HP seat in AISI316 stainless steel. Apart from the possibility of replacement in case of deterioration during maintenance, the composition of the seat, much harder than the traditional brass of fixed seats, prolongs its useful life as it better resists the deforming action of metal particles that may enter coming from the bottle.

Polyurethane valve with high mechanical resistance to oils and hyperoxic mixtures.

The hypercompensation of the mechanism guarantees a slight increase in intermediate pressure as the pressure in the bottle decreases. The regulator therefore provides its maximum level of performance in the final phase of the dive, undoubtedly the most critical.

An advanced study of the internal circulation of the air and an exclusive distribution chamber that channels the volume of air directly to the LP outlets have allowed the pressure drop in forced breaths to be at minimum levels (0.5 bar ), guaranteeing use with high performance in any situation.

Optional SC (Sealed Chamber) insulation and anti-freeze kit that completely isolates the membrane and the spring from contact with water, making it ideal for operating in extremely low temperature conditions and with very dirty water .

Especially effective filter with the shape of a hat inserted without the need for a circlip.

It is supplied in a DIN 300 bar version. The thread of the DIN version has been made of stainless steel instead of brass to guarantee greater resistance in the event of falls or knocks.
