The Speedmaster Surf sits at the center of Shimano's surf rod range, offering a variety of model options to suit your exact preferences. All rods have a powerful, long-range casting action and offer a fantastic combination of high performance, choice and value.

Designed with an extra-fast tip action, this range of great-looking rods allows you to crank up the power when you need extra distance, but still retain the sensitivity to show bites on smaller fish when fishing with fine lines.

The casting power of the Speedmaster is generated by the use of High Modulus Full Carbon technology, combined with the Diaflash construction in the lower part of the blank. The sensitivity comes from the hybrid tips that equip all models that feature a solid section joined together seamlessly, which magnifies the sensitive bites of smaller fish.

You can't help but be impressed by the stunning blue blank, which is fitted with stainless steel Fuji guides and Fuji Lowrider guides. They are corrosion resistant, lightweight and reduce friction. If you use braiding, you'll like to know that all rings are braid-safe as well.
