The Daiwa BG BL is an evolution of the classic BG reel, designed with a fully metallic body made from black anodized aluminum, providing extraordinary scratch resistance and greater structural rigidity. Ideal for a wide range of lure fishing methods in saltwater, this reel guarantees durability and performance with every cast.
Among its features, the screw-type handle stands out, eliminating any play in the handle, offering total control during battles with large fish. Its Tough Digigear control system provides powerful and silent retrieval, withstanding pressure during intense fights while offering smoothness in precise movements.
The innovative Air Rotor optimizes the reel’s structure to enhance balance and fluidity, while the LC-ABS spool reduces tangles when casting. Additionally, the ATD carbon brake is impregnated with a reformulated oil, allowing for a smoother and more progressive braking action.
All models include an EVA combat knob for added comfort. The 10000 model has an automatic pickup, while the 14000 and 18000 models feature a manual pickup.
